The third change of blog title in a year doesn't say much for my sense of continuity. The changes have been done because:
a) The Greasy Pole was out of date after the election
b) What Gentlemen Don't Discuss was a good idea, but it faltered on the grounds that I rarely felt like discussing religion and politics either. Or rather I didn't feel like discussing religion with the cynical house style I'd created, and politics hasn't been coming up with much good material lately.
c) My life, although still not that interesting, does have its moments that I'd like to share now I know the community members a bit better. But I won't do too much navel gazing, I promise. Other people's navels are better to gaze at than mine.
Don't believe I wrote that.
Anyway, my new blog is therefore Rebranded. It's still got the old Victorian globe avatar, so the visual identity is there, but the content is all new.
