A topic inspired by Kim on TheConnexion blog. I must admit, I'd never considered writing a hymn to 'You are my sunshine' before.
So, a challenge! Can anyone come up with some good hymn lyrics to go along with the following songs:

Paranoid Android
American Idiot (perhaps just substituting 'Fundamentalist' for 'American' in the first line and progressing the idea from there?)
Sunny Afternoon
Daydream believer (come on, that one should be easy. 'Now I'm a believer' likewise).
By the way, has anybody ever noticed that the Pet Shop Boys 'Go West' is a complete rip off of 'Give Thanks'? Has anyone given them a hard time over the copyright?
