Anyone know much about this?
I've been reading The Sunday Philosophy Club by Alexander Long-Scottish McName. The main character edits a journal of applied ethics, and so most of the internal dialogue in the book has to do with whether certain acts are right or not. Useful for an amateur sleuth. Good plot device.
But it has made me realise just how little I know about ethics. Well, most of my friends could have told you that probably, but I really don't know much. And it strikes me as an important thing to know something about, because how otherwise do you know if you're living the right sort of life?
