not sure how to describe this without reproducing the entire book.
basically the 3 core abilities are seen as endurance, force and speed as per the natural abilities profile below.
combinations of the abovegive rise to the more subtle abilities:
muscular endurance (endurance+force)
power (force+speed)
anaerobic endurance (endurance+speed)
so for this section i'm asked to assess my abilities in each discipline for the core abilities, combinations nd some others. out of 5 with 1 being 'amongst the worst in my race category' and 5 being amongst the best.

so i'm quite negative on my swim capability which i certainly consider my worst discipline.
more positive on the run after last years exploits but i know there are many better.
and the bike i know i can do, just need to get some specific training in.
these results give me a better idea what my limitations will be and where to target training bearing in mind specific targets.
