nothing to report

only a few observations on todays looong run:

- you go faster when you're not knee deep in mud

- disused railway lines are like canals but even less interesting

- how do mcdonalds wrappers get there?

- snowflakes are surprisingly sharp when you get them in your eye

the undulating return home was a bit of a shock to the system after several miles of flat railway (part of a long distance path that circles the city, and the route for an event later in the year)... i kept myself going by counting down the number of uphill sections to go.

as if running isn't seen as sadistic enough i treated my legs to 5 minutes in an ice cold bath... well it works for paula radcliffe and look how fast she goes! although straight from the mains it was painful even to put my feet in so i had to warm it up a bit.

now enjoying a nice sit down and a sweet cup of tea (although i had to walk to the corner shop to get some milk).

it's disturbing that this site also contains the dullest blog on the world.. i have to keep re-reading my own contributions to make sure they don't resemble the dull blog too much ;)
