'Draycote Water - At more than 600,000 acres, this is the largest area of open water in Warwickshire. It was completed in 1970 and is used as a storage resevoir. It is filled during the winter with water pumped from the River Leam, which helps to reduce river flooding.'... blah blah blah...'the Country Park on the south side of the resevoir, which has car parking and picnic sites for all to enjoy. This small area, 21 acres, was established in 1972 and rises to Hensborough Hill which affords excellent views over the resevoir.'
