work as usual on friday.
it was snowing when i picked lisa up, car ready packed we set of for wales.
we planned this a while back, to make sure we could go out walking, serious walking, i booked us onto a navigation course. not that cheap but a good investment i reckon, better than becoming mountain rescue fodder.
we shot up the m6 toll which worked a treat, across the m54 and onto the a5. there i was overtaking a slowish focus off a roundabout, but somehow it wasn't happening. foot was to the floor but no power, i became aware of a little flashing light on the dash... just what i needed!
having checked the manual we limped to our destination capel curig having stopped off at betws-y-coed for some food.
it was snowing, and had been for the past few days, so it was going to be an interesting weekend on the hills!
