lunchtime run on wednesday with a colleague who's an occasional runner.
did the short loop that i always call 3 miles, but even at a slow pace it must have been further than that!

was planning a spin class (cycling, honest) at the gym tonight as my schedule is starting to include cycling in preparation for some triathlons. was sure there used to be a class on wednesday evenings, but apparently not, so i took the evening off. probably wise given i could still feel the hills in my legs from the weekend.

and gym night tonight. last week before i ran home i promised them sub 23 minutes this week. a new chap came along tonight and was pushing out the front with me. it's meant to be a social run but us chaps at the front just appreciate having others to pull us along a bit faster occasionally.

half marathon at silverstone on sunday, and then a 20mile training run next weekend. the training run is organised by runnersworld with various pacing groups, i put down for 9min/mile group, and now looks like i could be leading it! which is a whole different ball game, could be fun though.
