I've noticed recently that I've completely failed to mention anything religious, which is odd, given that we are in the "Faith" section of the Wibiste and on blogs4god.
So, to redress this problem, I now report on the recent events here at Bradford. It being in the run up to Christmas, the venerable old clock tower atop City Hall does something rather odd - after the half past one chimes, it plays - I kid you not - carols.
About 10 minutes ago we had "We Thrree Kings of Orient Are", "Once in Royal David's City" and another one which I couldn't recognise.
In case you think this is the limit to our civic entertainment, on one particularly surreal day earlier in the year the clock tower playsd "On Ilkley Moor Bar T'at", "Waltzing Matilda" and "Land of My Fathers".
