A friend of mine was bemoaning the emergence of 80s retro, which seems to be all the rage at present (just like the 70s were in the 90s).
I can see his problem - this bodes ill for the future.
See, by the time 2010 arrives, we'll have to revive the 90s - but we can't, because the 90s was all about reviving the 70s. Which will bascially mean that we will get stuck in a 20-year cycle of reviving the 70s and 80s over and over and over again.
Is that what you want? Really?
