Can't think of much to say today

Glad to read (www.bbc.co.uk) that Israel is going to move the line of the Wall to the 1967 demarcation line, following the ICJ ruling. Basically, they're not going to take the Wall into the Occupied Territories to link up with the fences around the Settlements - hopefully, the isolation of the latter will make people realise that they ought not to be there, occupying someone else's farmland. There's a line between a secure border and land grabs - I pray Israel have realised that they have to stay on the right side of it.

I've just realised that I cannot remember what portion I read in the bible this morning - something in Mark, but don't ask me any details. Oh, yes, I've just remembered - Jesus being rejected in Nazareth.

Amazon, having stopped recommending that I should buy clean underwear (see entries past) and Harry Potter, have sussed that I've just ordered the DVD of "Angels in America", a major play set in AIDS/80s New York - and are now not only recommending that I buy the same flippin thing on video (?!) but have suggested almost every single gay book in the last 20 years. Look, guys, I managed 20 pages of "Tales of the City" and thought it was dull, ok? I don't need you to recommend me all 84 sequels.
