Where to begin?

On my birthday about two weeks ago (33, since you ask), we went to watch John Hegley live at the theatre, and he was SOOOOO unhappy - first half was really down, lots of poems about how his dad used to hit him. Felt very sorry for him. He cheered up a bit in the second half (coping well with the person in the front row who took his suggestion of a "workshop" a bit far and started doing all his punchlines.) Got all the glasses wearers to go up on stage and swap specs - I was dragged up by friends as a joke, and I was blessed when Mr H swapped the glasses he was wearing for my white stick. How cool is that? Later, he got my (soon to be) Godson and his mum up at the front as well.

In other news, I have had to submit my reader's licence back to the bish because it's that time of year when we have to get re-done. Had to organise and run a church meeting; have to organise another one for when I'm away; write a Good Friday service; enjoy our new sofa; get back to learning NT Greek (only been trying to crack it for about 5 years now); write to the insurance company to say, "Yes, I know your policy is underperforming - I knew that three years ago and took steps to deal with it, so there!"; find out where I can hire a DJ, because I'm going to the Local Gov't solicitors "piss up and lectures" event, which involves the annual dinner (hopefully won't get stuck next to drunk man who wants to tell me about Masonic rituals this year); get my dad a birthday card. WHEN DOES IT END!!!!!??????
