If you, like me, have a bit of a habit when it comes to books and want something to get your teeth into, check out the following:

Les Murray, "Fredy Neptune". A novel in verse-form, recounting the changes in the 20th century through the story of Fred. Fascinating stuff.

Brother Lawrence, "The Practice of the Presence of God". Possibly the book that's had most influence on me. A simple, direct and (when you think about it) obvious approach to living out the Christian life - remember God at all times.

C.S.Lewis, "The Discarded Image". Forget his children's books and his amateur theologising - this it what Lewis did best. A study of the mindset of the mediaeval world. Essential for anyone who wants to understand how people thought before the Reformation.
