You know how in infants school you were in the navity play and you never got to be Mary or Joseph or even an angel. You were Generic Roman Soldier #3. Not even a speaking part. To further the indignity you'd trip and fall and cut your leg in the middle of the play and spend the rest of the scene trying to stem the tide of blood using straw from the manger?
