I probably wouldn't be adding another post quite so quickly, but I print off a month's worth of Blog posts and send them to my Techno-phobe mother. I've just finished a letter to her, and want to include the photos that I've just taken of the procession.
So the Forezienne Dragonflies (not the Auvergne Dragonflies...Silly me!) were the Sapeurs Pompiers + others in their majorette outfits. And very lovely they all looked:

Then came the decorated bicycles and pushchairs. I particularly liked this one:
Then came the floats - people had worked hard on these.OK, so they're not Brazilian carnival floats, but obviously everyone was having a good time:
There is a brass band playing as well as a jazz quartet and the $^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^$^'(that's George's contribution!!!) Twenty-somethings float has vuvuzelas, steel drums (well, upside down oil cans!) and a hunting horn. All in all, very musical, as I'm sure you can imagine!
