Good news...bad news?

I'm not sure which it is... My god-dog Benjy has been adopted. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, which I'm a little sad about, but it's good he has gone to a new home. I hope he is tremendously well looked after, and that he doesn't vomit in his new owners car (which he did in ours. Twice)

So I chose a new God-dog. She looks rather like Benjy, but is a little smaller. I didn't have the camera, so couldn't take a photo, but I may go and see her on Monday before we go away on holiday and I'll take a photo then. Her name is Indy - which is slightly bizarre for me, as my best friend has a child called India, commonly known as Indie!!

Other news: none, except I've got back ache. It hurts. A lot. I have had back problems for most of my adult life, but it has been painfree for quite some time (about 10 months) Why it should have "gone" today I don't know. Oh well, I shall continue to move gingerly around the house, squeaking sharply when I move too quickly/not gingerly enough/the wrong way. I've taken pain killers and Mr D has rubbed Volterol on, but it's not made a huge difference. What it has meant is that dear Mr D has gone alone to get the shopping.

Oh, yes, and George and Millie continue to grow. They are coming to their new home in about three weeks, when we get back from our hols.
