Giving away stuff

I was tidying out our big cupboard and throwing out a lot of things that we had kept which quite frankly not worth the keeping. But I found a few things which, while I don't want them, were too good to just dump. So I wondered if anyone here might like them.  Don't get too excited...there's nothing too fantastic, but you never know.

Then we have

[caption id="attachment_307" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="A scarf - rust coloured chenille"][/caption]

and

[caption id="attachment_309" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Closer up"][/caption]

the bag has a zip up pocket at the front, and closes with velcro. The velcro is a bit nasty and could easily be removed if you want to add something else.

Then there is

[caption id="attachment_310" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="A knitted Beany hat"][/caption]

Maroon, black and beige.

And...

[caption id="attachment_311" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="A big pink plastic blow-up hand. 19" high"][/caption]

And finally

If yoyu'd like any of these, let me know. The first person to "bag" one is the new owner. You'll have to let me know your address. Then I'll send it to you. You then give the cost of postage and whatever you think the item is worth to the charity that I nominate with the item. I will trust you to do the right thing.

On another note, the Kitten is being called George. So after asking you to give me P-starting, food-related names we go with a different one. Sorry! It's just that we think George is quite an amusing name for such a tiny kitten.

We went to see the Kittens again yesterday. I held all three, but George was the only one who didn't "meep" for his mother. He obviously knew I was special for him!!! I was greatly relieved to hear that homes had been found for all three as we knew that otherwise the unchosen one(s) would have been for the Bucket-of-Water and I couldn't have stood the guilt of choosing one kitten to live and leaving others to their fate! It seems strange that people who care for their cats and love them, can, quite unthinkingly, drown kittens. They won't neuter the cat though - "too expensive". Grrr! Anyway, 'nuff said on that subject. These three are safe.
