Floss, over at Troc Broc et Recup' is holding her Pause In Advent series. As she describes it: "we're taking a weekly break from the flurry of preparations to rest for a while and share something -anything - about what Christmas is really about for us. We could be talking about traditions, family, food, beliefs, ponderings, children... whatever. " If you'd like to join in, or read other people's contributions, go to Floss's site to see the other contributors. For me, I think I'm in a happier place with God than I was in Lent I've not been to church since Pentecost Sunday, and I do feel a tad guilty about that, but I am talking to God, and I am thinking (from time to time) about my relationship with Him. I've done a little bit of Art-&-Prayer journalling and I think it's OK.  And Christmas is my favourite festival. Advent is not something that really impinges on my conciousness that much, so maybe this will be a good exercise for me. If my plan works, this is the format I'd like for my posts. A word of the week. A link to a piece of music that I love or that is important. And a character. This last may be difficult: I have some already written, but not others, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to write them. We'll see. The characters will, I think, have their own posts. Word of the Week: Music:Veni Emmanuel arranged by Anne Dudley. I love her work, and this is an arrangement of the well known Advent carol that always sends shivers down my spine. I hope you enjoy it too.
