Pronunciation:/ɪˈtɪn(ə)r(ə)nt, ʌɪ-/ˈtrafɪk/ kəʊn/ adjective  / noun A plastic object which tapers from a circular base to a point,  used to separate off or close sections of a road.  Appeared at the end of our road during a period of roadworks, travelled unseen to our driveway and later moved on to unknown destination, all within the space of a few weeks.
