As a dedicated blogger for almost 5 years I get a bazillion invites to play with memes and usually I decline. However, with this one I'll play on the basis that I've been flipping tagged for it nearly 5 times... You want 25 things about me? Seriously? You need help... but, who am I to argue with my adoring public... here's the list, go to the bottom of the page to read the rules, and if you want to play, help yourself, I only tagged those who tagged me* (which includes some wibloggers - you know who you are - if you're not on my facebook friends and want to be leave me a comment with your fb email address and I'll add you.

I am the sister of three, aunt of seven (6 of them boys) and being single with no kids makes me a flipping awesome auntie (preferred spelling).

I didn't get my driving license until I turned 18. This is not a big deal these days but way back then *coughs* you could get a full license at age 15... which means you were learning to drive when you were 14... *shakes head*

... yep, I'm that old, or NZ was that backward... I'm going for the latter

Right now I'm thinking, "Thank goodness this isn't a list of 100 things."

I have travelled so often between NZ and OZ in the last 10 years that it doesn't even feel like international travel any more.

I like Mexican alcohol. Mostly, this means tequila but it's not limited to that... I really like Coronas as well.

If you ask me what I think make sure you're ready for the answer. I'm not afraid to be honest. (Ed... unless you're hot and she's trying to impress you.)

Money and the management thereof scares the crap out of me.

I'm a total sucker for crime fighting drama. Even more so if the detective is attractive (guy attractive, not girl attractive.)

I live near the beach and walk past it often but spend very little time on it.

If I had to give up coffee permanently I'd be really, really, really pissed off.

I left my safe job to be a student. Sometimes it freaks me out. Most of the time I'm loving it. May feel differently once I have assignment deadlines... who knows?

I am a late convert to Mac computers. I love all computers really and work well in both platforms but I have to admit, I really love the cool of a Mac. I wish I didn't. It would save me heaps of cash.

I've been a Christian since I was 23 years old, but it feels longer because I was born and raised in the church. I think it's a blessing, except for the days when I don't. Usually those days I'm thinking of doing something I ought not to do.

My favourite place at school was the library. Nerdsville. Actually these days I read a whole lot less than I'd like to but I'm a whole lot more discerning about what I read.

If I had to grow my own food it would be a really steep learning curve for me... problem is not getting things to grow, it's staying committed to the process... I get bored easily when things don't happen fast enough.

I never write about my family, or my work online. I have a big fat rule that says never put anything out there that you wouldn't want someone to know/hear because once it's out there you can never get it back.

In a related thought, I reckon it's really stupid to write letters to people when you're pissed off. Never send them, destroy them if you must write to purge the thought... but really, if you have some thing to say... say it aloud. Words on paper can't be got back. Words in the air evaporate eventually and can be more easily forgiven.

Which is all very well but actually having those conversations are the hardest thing on earth. So think twice.

When I get angry it always ends in tears and I can't keep angry for long it turns into sadness. I think this is a real plus because I'd hate to be the kind that holds grudges.

No idea why this is sounding so philosophical. And no, I'm not currently angry with anyone!

I'm a cat person. I like dogs, really I do, but actually don't want to own one. I think this is why I like Burmese. They have doglike characteristics with all of a cat's independence.

When I get anxious, which I try not to do but fail pretty often at, I get a really badly knotted stomach and feel sick, so sick. Once I was anxious for 3 months and ate little more than vegemite on toast. I lost 2 dress sizes... but I won't let that happen again. (The anxiety, that is, I'd love to lose the dress sizes...)
