You don't have a minute to check or update your blog during office hours... This is a first for me since I started writing it... So local time is 1.15am... I just got home from babysitting!!!
I am pleased to report that after a whole week in the "it" department I consider the leap from one building to the other one of great satisfaction... finally I will be getting paid for actually achieving something... it has been a very long 5 months!!!!!
I am now referred to the web administrator (or spiderwoman...) or 'the it girl". Neither of these are particularly thrilling but affectionately meant I believe... Actually at my request the title was changed to website administrator... sounds preferable to me!
As reported yesterday D - Day has been scheduled for tomorrow. I am actually not feeling terribly stressed about it which is gratifying. I am wondering though if I am the only girl out there who apparently does not place enough gravity on the choice of vestments for such an occasion as a first date, and a blind one at that...
I have a vague idea of what I would wear to this meeting... (a lunch at a local beach side cafe...) casual yet feminie attire... but nothing too thoroughly thought out. Make up? Check! Hand bag? Check! etc. etc. etc - YET
Bliss, Skeeter and Kaffin, all respond to my news that D-Day was set with the question..."What are you going to wear?" Proceeding then to mentally flick through my wardrobe and offer their best suggestions...
What a drama... I do think I need to go shopping and start compiling the summer wardrobe but it makes me wonder what sort of girl I am when clothes aren't the first thing I think about in any given situation...
