(Nods to Douglas Adams...)

It's Sunday, making tomorrow (as one would expect) Monday, which brings with it all the usual delights of getting up early, doing hair and makeup, scavenging a quick breakfast and screaming out the door on the way to work...

But not this tomorrow...

Nope, this tomorrow is that decadent indulgence, the recognition of a long hard slog and thankless toil, a gift from Her Majesty the Queen to this lowly servant... A Public Holiday. Or a Bank Holiday, or a Statutory Holiday, or... [insert colloquial description of choice]. Basically, a Big Fat Day Off.

In fact, for some reason, this holiday is a gift from the Q in celebration of her birthday!! Yippee... thanks luv!

So what am I going to do with my Day Off?

Work...

Yep... lots to do... not proper job work but fun stuff... I have wasted quite a lot of time this weekend going to the Art Gallery of NSW to view the Archibald/Wynne and Sulman hexibitions, lounging at GZ drinking coffee with Bet, cooking Bills Ricotta Hotcakes for Couch for brunch today, I have also been far too busy tidying my room, chatting on MSNGR to Pash who made me cry (in a nice way) and cooking cornbread muffins.

Tomorrow I really have to get busy.
