Good. Sorry about that.

I've come to the conclusion that homophobic placard waving Christians and Jade Goody are basically of the same species of animal, differing only in the area/s of their ignorance.

What I don't understand though is why the whole homosexuality debate in the church always seems to be centred around male sexuality and not lesbianism. Perhaps because the whole debate seems to be led by males who find male homosexuality threatening but lesbianism completely terrifying? I know not.

Anyhow, while we're on the subject of sex and religion, the upstanding member of parliament I have the dubious honour of being represented by is a bloke by the name of James Grey (North Wilts, very Conservative). Recently he was discovered to have been having an affair with a fellow fox hunting supporter while his wife was having treatment for cancer, an original interpretation of "compassionate Conservatism", I'll grant him that. Anyway, during thew "festive season" he wrote a column in the local paper titled something like, "Why we need to remember the baby born in Bethlehem at this time of year". Sex and religion, they're joined at the hip.
