I kid you not. A few weeks back I felt crap. Couldn't sleep, pollen making me itchy, tired all the time, etc. The week before last I was in Wales camping and felt great. Hiked loads, slept like a tortoise, no adverse pollen reactions, etc. Since I've been back in the south-west I've felt crap. Can't sleep, pollen making me itchy, tired all the time, etc.
Dr says: "Try some of this."
"I tried some of that before", I reply.
"Oh.....try relocating."
"Can I claim relocation expenses on the NHS?"
[chuckle] "'Fraid not."
I've narrowed it down to grass pollen, especially grass that's cut then left to dry in the sun. Lots of grasscutting goes on round these parts but not much of that sort of thing seems to happen in Wales because they have sheep.
So if I were Prime Minister I'd ban all lawnmowers and every garden would come with a free sheep, or maybe a goat, or two. But then as I'm allergic to sheep and goats milk (and cheese) I'm probably also allergic to sheep and goats.
Sigh. Yawn. Itch.
