Today I cleansed in a spring stylee. The house that is. Amongst the long forgotten gems I uncovered was the greatest hits of Soul II Soul. So I stuck it on and waves of nostalgia washed over me. Suddenly I remembered reading some of their lyrics in a Pete Ward book (Gospel & Youth Culture perhaps...???) yeeeeeaaaars ago. '93 or '94? Back in the days when we thought we were pushing the barriers to use 'secular' music and video in a worship context. Wow, things have changed a lot.
So, Jonny B, if you're reading this then when are you going to blog about seeing Massive Attack the other night? I heard Sinead O'Connor couldn't make it 'cos of a bad back? :-(
