...and what a busy days it's been!

Cheers Chris for finding my password. Every time I hoover it up it seems to end up on his desk....hmmmm.

Updated my (rapidly expanding) bibliography this morning. Started on a rough index for The Diaries and Letters of Etty Hillesum. Read some Jorge Luis Borges parables. Couldn't go to the library 'cos the NASUWT and NUS are on strike, tomorrow too...such a pity...

Then, went to street-level photoworks (see new link on left) and developed a few films but didn't get time to print any up. Will do on saturday. Cheers to techie Doug for help finding a 6x7 neg carrier and changing enlarger lenses. Much appreciated!

Then I get back and there's 2 e-mails from 2 of my favourite people who I don't get to see enough (hi Lucia). A lovely surprise.

Read The Cutting Room by Louise Welsh the other week. A good read, not brilliant, but maybe that's 'cos I read it the same week as Disgrace by J. M. Coetzee which truly is a brilliant novel, though just a tad dark. However, Louise Welsh came and took our post-grad seminar in Literature, Theology and the Arts last week and she was so nice and helpful and answered all our stupid questions. And then we all went for a beer.

And then we went to Sharmanka. Hmmmm, how do I explain what Sharmanka is? I'll put a link to their site up in a day or 2 and you can suss it out for yourselves, but it was soooo much fun, in a slightly weird, bizarre, quirky kind of style.

Finally done some housekeeping on the links, got rid of the rust and slapped a bit of paint on.
