I discovered a second theologian who's dared to mention John Cage in his work! Stand up Thomas J.J. Altizer. Good, can I burn the Francis Schaeffer book now?....It's really not doing good things for my radical image....

Isn't that current White Stripes 7" (hey, it's a retro thing!) catchier than the razor-wire round Faslane Naval base???? Oh God, yes it is m'fellows! And now that Franz Ferdinand thing is slithering from the wireless like a tempting woman holding an apple....oh go on then give us a bite....
(What was all that about??? Answers on a postcard to: Block 11, Flat 2/1,....
Freudian psychoanalysts need not apply).

The shadow of an incoming helicopter has just slidden (? slided ? slid ? slidered ?) down the front of the Glasgow Science Centre. It was a cool thing...hmmm...guess the experience was rooted in an essential visuality somewhat eclipsed in text huh...

Thou shalt not worship false pop idols. Absolutely. Talking of which, Telstar (the label which thought it could make a quick buck from the Cheeky Girls) is in dire financial struggles. When will people learn that if you try and keep the company afloat on the back of a couple of no-talent, no-hoper, 6th formers, then you're going be visiting the job centre soon? Is that so difficult to figure out???

Spent half the afternoon filling in forms for a new passport. £42! Here's the plan: Italy, summer sometime, TBA; Sweden, conference, October; Amsterdam, research, September....perhaps.

Am I the only person supporting Chelsea this evening for spiritual reasons? Let me explain. Unless Ranieri wins the Champions League he's gonna get sacked. This would be a spiritual disaster for the nation. The Tinkerman is a comedic genius, responsible for more laughter per minutes per head of population perhaps than anyone else in the last year (then again I don't have a TV) apart from maybe Bill Hicks (the stand-up theologian). And as we all know laughing is a sign of the kingdon of God. Hence the Tinkerman is here to help us to evolve towards God and ourselves. Seems obvious to me.

Off for an evening stroll out towards Yoker.....wish me luck, it can get scary out there!

Hi Lucia, see you sometime over the summer, have a bottle of red open ready.
