Conversation with library attendant while taking out a book on Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Steiglitz the other day. The book in question had an O'Keefe pic on the front.
Her: 'Ooh, that's nice, like the nice warm colours colours in that.'
Me: 'Yes, it is (cough, cough)......pretty, isn't it.'
Her: 'Yes, I wonder what it's of?'
Me: 'Well, I think it's rather...uh hum...erotic actually.'
Her: 'Is it?'
Me: 'I think so. Probably not the sort of thing librarians should be thinking about in working hours!'
Confused silence followed by fits of giggles and a nice bright red face at the moment of realisation.
Noticed some footy pundit in The Telegraph put some money on Liverpool to win the Premiership. Hahahahaha! My money's on Chelsea with Liverpool snapping at the heels of Arsenal, closely followed by Birmingham, Middlesborough, Charlton and Fulham.
