Been doing some more work on my site today. The actual site is pretty much done - after a redesign to make it a bit (ok, a lot) simpler. There are no navigation buttons because you don't need any! I think it could catch on. I'm working on some sonic weirdness to put on the site as MP3 downloads. Perhaps a whole track or two.........if you ask nicely.
Should take no more than a few weeks.........
Still sad about the death of John Peel. Been listening to all those great records that I would never have known about if it wasn't for him: Joy Division, loads of stuff on Warp, The Pixies, P. J. Harvey, Robert Fripp, etc. Then there's the 1000's of unknown sounds that have vibrated across my airspace from his decks and disrupted (and continue to disrupt) my universe.
Been reading lots of John Cage lately. Shall throw in a few quotes for you over the next week or two. I highly recommend 'A Year From Monday' by him. Thought provoking, serious, entertaining, political (not party political!) and amusing. Yes, they can all go together.
