...making totally bugged-out (excuse the Americanism) sounds and noises and gluing them together it really should be illegal! I guess after 5-and-a-half years of not having really put any effort into making music (3 of university and 2.5 of M.E.) I've regained my enthusiasm / healthy perspective for making music. I made so much music between '96 and '98 and most of it is still in my 14 year old Atari! But that isn't a good situation. Music is supposed to be for the hearts/minds/bodies of people, not the hard drives of ancient Ataris! I guess I have a renewed determination to find a connection between what I make and the world (perhaps not all of the world....well, not yet anyway, maybe next year).
Today has been productive, sorting the wheat from the chaff in the iTunes folder. The herd has been culled, only the fittest / most beautiful / most delicately formed have survived.
