'Christian Voice' - Is this the most misnamed organisation/movement ever? I just wonder why 'pro-lifers' are so interested in abortion. Surely it would make more sense if they campaigned at least equally against war, famine, disease, US arms laws, the policies of the World Bank/IMF, junk food, smoking and people who don't get enough exercise. If you're going to be a pro-lifer then at least be CONSISTENT about it. I think it was Bill Hicks the late American comedian who described pro-lifers murdering abortion doctors as 'irony on a base level'. Am I the only one who thinks that an organisation with the name of 'Christian Voice' should be commiting themselves to compassionate dialogue?
Anyway, song of the week is 'Move On', by Envoy, from the CD 'Shoulder2Shoulder' on Soma Records. Gorgeously groovy and soulful vocal house with strings arranged by Craig Armstrong (him of 'The Space Between Us'). Lush.
