Thank you Nessa for your birthday greetings and surprisingly attentive witticisms. So, someone does actually read this nonsense. I think I have a new tooth coming through.

Random googlism alert. I am no.3 for "blog what is culture". I'm not sure whether they meant "blog" - "what is culture" or "blog what is culture". If it was the second then I would like to respond that culture is largely based on the ability of human beings to engage in language creatively, we are inescapeably linguistic beings. Thus, "blog what is culture" is a perfectly good example of human culture.
To celebrate the rebirth of Liverpool as a force in European football I will end with a song/chant, please feel free to join in. "Igor, Igor, Igor, Igor....."
