Regular readers (er...excuse me?) will probably have gathered by now that I have a thing about Friedrich Nietzsche, though please be aware that when I say "a thing" I do not mean in the same way that I have "a thing" about Kate Humble. Reading through Ecce Homo I stumbled across a line which sums up Niezsche just as well as any.
"A physician who treated me as a nervous case for a while said in the end, "No! It is not a matter of your nerves; it is I who am nervous.""
Replace "physician" with priest/moralist/improver of mankind and you're half-way to understanding Nietzsche.
