In 1990 a nice member of the Wiltshire constabulary stopped me for driving with undue exuberance. 3 points.
In 1998, 2002 and 2006 I caught the attention of speeding cameras, though only by a thin margin in each case. 3 points each.
It has occured to me that every world cup football year since I passed my driving test I have been caught speeding, apart from 1994 when England failed to qualify.
Hmmm.
