...The Times for redressing the balance and leading with the story on Walter Wolfgang. Leading that is from page 28! Hello? I'm thinking this is perhaps the most significant UK political story of the year (perhaps last couple of years, let me think on that one...) and even the Conservative press are reporting it from the no-man's-land of page 28. Did we suddenly all subconsciously agree to living in a totalitarian state because democracy is just too much effort? Anyway, The Times website reported this:

"Labour said that Mr Wolfgang will be allowed back into today's final day of the conference, as long as he agrees to behave himself."

Being told to "Behave himself" by a government which routinely sells arms to oppressive regimes (by which I'll include the British Armed "Services"), the leader of whom professes to be "Christian" (whatever that means). And then politicians have the bare-faced audacity to question why more people don't involve themselves in the "democratic process" by putting a cross on their slip of paper every 4 years. A question for educators: How is it our political elite are so £ucking stupid when they are the products of our best schools and universities?
