Bizarre coincidence.

Jedi Walker blogged the other day about a Glasgow based artist called David Shrigley. Picked up a copy of a freebie South-West music scene mag called Junxion 17 - Music and the Arts: News, Reviews and Views from a music shop in Chippenham. Last night I'm browsing through Junxion 17 in bed when suddenly I have a bizarre coincidence thing going on. On Page 28 there is a review of an exhibition at the LOT gallery on Penn Street in Bristol, and in the middle of the page is a picture of a piece by...you've guessed...Mr Shrigley. The exhibition (Bloomberg New Contemporaries) is a collection of work by lots of different artists and runs until Oct. 16th. I'm going to get myself along to it.

Grey dreariness covers the sky after yesterday's last convulsive twitch of summer. A lone sparrowhawk (maybe a Kestrel) sits on a post overlooking the vegetable patch. Bye bye summer.
