A thing of bizarreness has come to pass...

Today I was working on another track, old-school hippity-hoppity this time. I like it. Thought I'd MP3ify it and send it to a singer friend via e-mail. To accomplish this tricky task I have to slap it on an audio CD (yes, actually that is the correct technical term...), whop the CD into the biscuit tray of the computer, rip the CD to iTunes, find the file in the iTunes folder, copy the file, then attach it to an e-mail and hey presto. The amusement came in the form of something iTunes does called Gracenote. Gracenote is an enormous online encyclopedia of information; song titles, artist names, CD titles and track lengths, etc, etc. Whenever you whop a CD into iTunes it will look up Gracenote and automatically provide you with the info of the CD you've just fed it with. Now, when you've recorded your own CD, unreleased, fresh out the oven, it still looks to Gracenote for info, but there ain't gonna be any is there. But behold, for a miracle of miraculous proportions takes place, information is indeed forthcoming. Gracenote chose to give the following information to my old-school hip-hop ditty.

Track title: The Best One.
Artist: Michael, Daniel, April, Carrie.
Album: BYU - The Musical.

Michael, Daniel, April, Carrie? But...but...I always wanted to be Tarquin.....
