Sorry but you're going to have to wait a bit longer for the Pollock and Donnie Darko "reviews", my social calendar is just waaaay too busy. ;-)

Did manage to finish William Blatty's The Exorcist though. Was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't the overly sensationalised portrayal of the supernatural that a lot of this kind of thing is. In fact it has some very human moments which set it apart from the crowd. Still didn't sleep too well for a couple of nights....

Love this time of year; bonfire night, all that bang-whizzzzzz-schwoooooo-wheeeeee stuff, sparklers, kids shouting / screaming, stomping through thick carpets of leaves, sharing kit-kats and hot choccy in the cool night air with friends, old and new. It's one of the highlights of my year. Can't wait.
