Temporality.

I've been a (mostly) active member of the forums over at OSXAudio (see link to left) for a couple of years now. Look in most days, notched up nearly 500 posts. Don't know how many of you people are regulars on online forums but you do kinda get to "know" people, but in a very strange way, i.e., the people you talk to every day don't have bodies, they just have silly avatars and links to lists of the music software they use and mp3's of their work, etc. Just a couple of days ago one of the regulars at OSXAudio died, he was just 29 and from New York. My reactions have surprised me. I've never met the guy, but his death has saddened me. I didn't even know much about him beyond that we used some of the same software. Maybe it's 'cos he was younger than me and at 34 (just) I'm beginning to feel like a survivor because I've already outlived many of my heroes and some of my friends. Or maybe it's just a stark reminder that everything you see is temporary and we really have very little control over things.

Gonna be working on an online photo project called "OUCH!". Will give you more details as and when things get online.
