Spring Harvest and the stuff in between

We had a wonderfull week and I've loved my team. There were many new faces, all the more since I've not been on the boss's team for a couple of years. It was good to be back with my 'home crew' but I was really sad to only see the next week's crew only on changeover. You know how people get under your skin and you just love them to bits...
I've met some friends of friends which is really fun. One of my team and his wife are really close to some of my best mates and on day 5 when the new team arrived one of the girls and I worked out that we'd met before at least once since she lodged at some friends for a couple of years. Makes the world like a scrunched up cloth, where far away bits meet by being crumpled towards one another in the right way.

The bits in between have included catching up with good mates, fielding Guy's panic attacks over the phone, skating every possible where on my rollerblades for a week (Viva Butlins' flatness!) and a surprise call from Fabrice just before lunch yesterday.

I feel a bit like I've been reprogrammed these few days. Now somehow I have to lean in God and stay that way. I've still no idea how I'm going to get discipline into my life that I need. How do I find a mentor who will actually mentor me?? The only person who's ever adequately taken me on has been poorly for ages and is now waiting for a multiple faffy heart op and I've not had the heart to even dare think of asking her for 3 years now. I'm quite a slippery snake at wheedling out of things that I find demanding you see and when I forget my focus it takes over any will power I thought I had. She proved very good at pinning me down.
