doubly so, or something to that effect!
In fact it's a paraphrase by Moi, of someone else's fabulous understanding of the Word of God.

Oh. Guy's not been too bad today. He's seemed settled. Not very communicative and a few times when he's not been brill but I'd call it better than last week. I think he's been relatively stable over the weekend and today's been consistent with that.
I've sneezed my way through 2 thirds of it. (Gardening til 1130 and sneezing since around then through everything else I've been up to)

Aaanyhow! I'm reading a book by Watchman Nee, 'Search ye the Scriptures'

I had an reading-epiphany this afternoon and told a friend about it. This is cut directly from the email I sent her a moment ago, mostly because then I don't have to write it all over again so I can go to bed sooner.

I copied out something today (I only pick out the real special bits that I find deep-changing)

He was talking about how the content of the stories in the Bible can be more than meets the eye and how comparing between gospels highlights things. One of these is the boat in the storm moment when Jesus is fast asleep having said to the guys "Let's go to the other shore" and they're all panicking in the storm and wake him, even telling him off for sleeping so peacefully. Nee picks on the fact that though at first it seems quite right that Jesus gets up and calms the storm then pointing out that Jesus makes no apology for his kip and goes on to call the disciples "little faiths". What Nee gets out of that is the fact that Jesus doesn't need to apologise because he was in fact right all along in spite of appearances. Indeed, how could the storm sink their boat when the voice that spoke the Earth and everything into being had just said: "let's go to the other shore". Jesus knows that they'll arrive on the other side safely so he sleeps soundly, trusting in his own words, so he pulls the guys socks up for not trusting him too.

G, I think about this applies to Guy, and therefore also about B and others. We've prayed, Jesus has spoken our prayers to Daddy, and we are in the storm. The other side is veiled but the boat isn't about to sink. Jesus says: "Let us go to the other side!" That leaves us holding on tight in the squalls, but rigged to the main deck by a solid rope on a boat that will, come what may, get us to the other shore.

Do you know the song "When the rain comes..." by Third Day?
"I can't stop the rain from falling but I will hold you 'til it goes away!"

Voila!

Also, I miss F. In typical bloke fashion he's busy and has therefore barely showed sign of life. What is it with men! 10 points for consistency as a group but not much on the scoreboard where constancy is concerned ;) If I weren't a fickle butterfly, I would be really put out, but I'm probably the worst offender so, he's off the hook.

To summarise:
:)
