packing in progress

My room's even more of a state than usual, as I'm part way through packing to leave tonight, or hopefully, if I manage to sweet-talk someone into giving me a lift, early in the morning.
A mate just stopped off for a cuppa and needed to check his emails so came up here and, oopsie, encountered the washing that is currently drying hanging from my bed (loft bed under which my desk is).
Today's drying washing is :) :) bras!
Many appologies :)
I did giggle...

Guy left OK yesterday and has arrived safe and sound.
I got an incredible (to me) text from my cousin shortly after Guy'd arrived in Exeter, at the point when I was a bit jittery and worried about whether he'd get on a bus alright etc. All Al said was "Just spoke to Dan, he's on the bus back with Guy at the mo."
I cried...
I know I've not been doing much by way of updates regarding my younger bro Danny. Well there you have it! He's doing OK! He's been better and better consistently and I keep being really encouraged, but most incredibly, last night, there he was sat on a bus and I was reassured that he would be looking after his older brother. So, yes, I cried.
There are so many twee things that get used as examples of joy and happiness.
I don't think much beats moments like this though, priceless moments of victory over circumstance, ie Danny's, testimonies to someone's faithfulness, in this case my Dad, and of resiliance, perseverance and overcoming, by this little bro of mine these past few years.
Don't ever let anyone tell you something is impossible. They'd be lying. Tell them so.

I'm off out to buy some Danish oil to bring back for my sister. I'm on orders so had better get going before I run out of time. I also mustn't forget I'm working at 4. Not used to that particular start time so am more liable to getting 'confuzed'.

Ta all of you for prayers and thoughts, chats and listening, etc.
