Well, on Friday morning I woke up feeling ill (bad throat, slight ear ache, bit of a cough) and decided to plough on. Out of the house at 1100 back 2230. Desperately needing painkillers by then as everything began feeling truly nasty about 2130. Hann bailed me out and we drove to Asda at silly o'clock and got some! Star!!!
Saturday was an 0830 out the house kind of day because I had a day at Telford International Centre with Forever Living Products (Aloe Vera) and I wasn't going to miss that. Painkillers and cough sweets it was and trusty Bee pollen for energy. I actually felt mostly fine all day. Home 1700 and I still wasn't ready to keel over so I decided I would be going back out later though I did scrounge a lift cos of the cold. So home 2345 with 1 painkiller left and I crashed out in moments.
Slept like a log.
Spent Sunday in bed, thinking I really should'a bought 2 packs of the numbing tablets and did i feel sorry for myself... Slept mostly, listened to stories and music a little, rejoiced when Josy dropped off some more painkillers (a marvel after nearly a whole day without), then watched a film on the night and chatted briefly with Jeff as he stopped off en route from someplace near Bradford, heading south. Bed at 0030 or so. Never heard Jeff go. (Note to McClegg and co: The 'date bed' does get used for guests see, so tough if you think it's not comfy enough :P so there!)
Notice: no meals!! Not hungry. Still not today either. Though I thought I should be good and drank a glass of protein shake thing. (Aloe product (!!) (I'd thought weight watchers shakes were mad enough!) I bought to see what tasted like in case any1 wanted to know. Tastes rather gross to fussy me! Has been usefull 'meal on the run' on occasion though: replace cows milk with Soya milk which doesn't mind the heat and can take it anywhere...) and I also had a few dried apricots and some marzipan and cholcolate. That was my evening meal. Lunch was 4 richtea biscuits.
How awesome a menu! Weird, I am.
Woke at 1135 this morning. That's about 11 hours uninterupted sleep! Incredible! I mean, totally! For me anyway.
Today i've lost the earache! :)
I'm now a Snot Goblin. Not sure the transaction was a good one...
Thought I'd share all this with you all so that I won't get as bored as yesterday. Didn't have the energy to sit at computer yesterday, hence wanting someone to read me bedtime stories and resorting to switchin on my now definitely beloved mac and turning on iTunes to find the Bible stories I am so glad I naughtily ripped off a mate's cd and listened to those for a bit. I mean I've got to appreciate my computer's ability to read me bedside stories haven't I... All the better for having my desk under my bed!! I'm not kidding. My bed is the best. No the mac is the best. Whatever!! And because I've got a remote, when I wanted silence I just pressed stop and rolled over and little trustee iMac went to sleep too once it got bored of just sitting there doing nothing. How cool!!!
I'm reading a book called Praying the Names of God at the mo. First name: ELOHIM God the creator, strong and sovereign.
I've been meaning to start it for weeks (2 months more like!) so when better than couped up in bed to avoid getting too bored.
OK, after Hann and Josy's saving marvellous awesome friend actions of finding me numbing pills, my friend Jo brought me some about hafl hour ago and I boiled the kettle in celebration since she also brought me some milk (ran out of that last night). My coffee awaits! Thanks to naughty but so very very so wondrously kind Jo who should not be carrying things really...
