Turning 30

When I started this blog, I was looking 30 full in the face, which I found quite disturbing. I decided that it was time to take action and start to get on with all the things that I have always wanted to do. I'm not planning to die any time soon, but life seems to creep up on you while you're not looking! So far I have achieved three of my big goals. Back during the Spring Break I finally went and did my lorry course over four days and took and passed my test. I now have an LGV class 2 licence, which means I can drive any rigid lorry (they go up to about 38 tonnes). I spend much of my time when I am driving about ogling lorries and wondering if I can drive them. I want to do my LGV 1 next year so that I can drive artics too.

I have also been learning to play the piano and have managed to pass grades 1, 2 & 3, thanks Dee - check out her website if you fancy finding out about an up and coming performer - www.deehunter.com. Grade 5 next - hoorah!

My other big event of the year was getting to see U2 live after fifteen years of waiting - wow - what more can I say?

As for the next six months...we will see.

Oh, yeah, I became a vicar's wife too. Not quite an ambition, but interesting all the same...
