Hello! Somehow it's been a whole year since I last posted and bizarrely, the last post could have as easily have been written this year! So what's been happening to you all in the last 12ish months?
Very little changes in my life, September, as it has done for the 27 years of my life means the start of school (that's frightening!). It's 3 weeks in and I'm shattered as ever. This year I've been to Italy twice - I planned one trip, which is really brave for me! - Ireland once, joined a brass band where I get to hit things - and got a special mention in the adjudicator's comments from a competition ("bravo xylo"), passed my grade 5 piano, seen two of my good friends get married (at last) CONGRATULATIONS!, got a pay rise, bought two pairs of shoes (yes, that's a big deal for me too!), learnt that there are lots of people who will be there when you need them, found a counsellor (I have issues, don't you?), changed the tyres on an F1 car (2nd fastest girls of the weekend at the Motor Show), ran away from a party cos there were too many people there, wrote a 15000 word dissertation in 4 days, got trolleyed for my birthday (won't do that again, anything that puts me off my food can't be right) and drunk many, many chocolate cream frappucinos. Oh, I forgot - I saw Su Pollard in a pub in Covent Garden - definitely a highlight).
*DRAW BREATH*
Apart from that everything stays the same!!!
And did you hear........the government are withholding the money they should be paying to the World Bank cos Hilary Benn isn't happy about the restrictions they put on the governments they lend to, which is what Christian Aid have been campaigning for - I LOVE IT! Few things get me more excited then seeing justice in action. And then Grace from Big Brother got beaten up and is probably scarred for life and although I don't agree with violence, is that justice in action too? Or am I just being mean??
And I was watching Spooks and it was about MI6 and some business people overthrowing the government and two days later there's a coup in Thailand and they actually do it. Bizarre!
I'd better stop rambling now! Let me know your exciting news.
