..well not me, but did anyone see the Channel 5 programme Crucify Me with Dominik Diamond? I only saw the last half, but not only did I think it was fascinating, but also extremely deep, bearing in mind this guy is known for presenting programmes about computer games and writing for the Daily Star!
In case you didn't - Dominik Diamond, Roman Catholic from Glasgow lost his faith a number of years ago. He took up the challenge to go on a journey to try to rediscover it, which took him to various places including Jerusalem and ultimately to the Phillipines for the Easter Crucifixion ritual. He carried his cross and the guy he'd been paired with went through with being crucified, but when he came to it he couldn't do it. Instead he prayed at the foot of his cross. Afterwards he said something like, "I don't need to be crucified to find God, God has found me, I just needed to stand still long enough."
