Didn't really feel like going to church today, or doing anything else for that matter. So Tchaikovsky's 'Hymn to the Trinity' had to do without me this morning. Judging by all the Jubilee Celebrations, the Queen has replaced the third person of the Trinity in people's hearts and minds this week - following the National Anthem, our deputy organist was planning to merge into a medley of patriotic songs: Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem. I wonder if the choir will be waving little flags?
