A change of location this week, as I travelled up to Salisbury, to hear our RSCM area choir sing at the Cathedral. A small choir, unfortunately with several absentees, sang two evensongs and the Sunday morning Eucharist. Highlights included the Byrd anthem, 'Civitas Sancti Tui', and an anthem I'd not heard before, by Jonathan Dove, 'Ecce Beatam Lucem', which I can throughly recommend. Unfortunately, somewhere in Salisbury, I managed to pick up a stomach bug to bring home with me. As far as I'm concerned, they're welcome to have it back.
