Teach me

Education Sunday, the one Sunday a year when we try to pack as many children and teenagers in the church from as many schools as possible. They seemed just as keen to come in the morning this year, as the more usual evening attendance. Each school choir sang their favourite song (ranging from butterflies and wriggly worms, through to an Irish blessing and a setting of Psalm 23). Our church choir also joined in, singing 'I was Glad' (Parry) to add a majestic flavour to the proceedings.

A much quieter evening service saw us singing 'Teach me O Lord' (Attwood) as well as the usual Ferial responses, and psalm and canticles sung to Anglican chant.

Two completely different services on the same day, showing the full extent of our church's repertoire.
