There is only one hymn in our hymnbook specifically about the conversion of St. Paul, so we had to sing it. Delightfully archaic words, all about ravenous wolves, nobler spoils and building to destroy. (Hymn 313, A&M, New Standard). Actually the last verse is fine - 'Lord, teach thy Church the lesson, still in her darkest hour of weakness and in danger to trust thy hidden power'.
We sang Psalm 67 (Deus Misereatur) in the morning, taking me back over the years to when we used to sing the alternative canticles during Advent and Lent, at Evensong: God be merciful unto us and bless us.
Anthems were 'Hail glorious spirits, heirs of light' by Tye, in the morning, and 'Give us the wings of faith' by Bullock at Evensong.
